Released 8th December 2018. This version resolves a couple of minor bugs that prevented user custom host files being added to the built hosts file. We had forgotten to add the loopback IP address to the hostnames in the custom lists, which meant the hosts were removed from the hosts file during data cleanup.
As with all 3.x.x version of host Flash, all 23 lists are enabled by default. Use option 1 to disable lists unnecessary for your hosts file build. Use option 4 to set the build mode to either Build and Install or Build but do not Install. Use option 5 to build the hosts file.
If the build mode is set to leave the compiled hosts file uninstalled the hosts file will be left in $HOME/src/hostflash/ for manual inspection or use. Use Host Flash option 6 to Enable the hosts file and flush the system DNS cache (this is done automatically when the build mode is set to Build and Install).
